The Other Side of God's Love - Clinton Rowand (1038) - February 14, 2016

​Love is not always soft and gentle.  God’s love is real and powerful, but love has to be truthful and sometimes even hard.  We explore three things that are from the harder side of  God’s love.  Christ said we are his friends only if we obey his commands.  God disciplines his children even Jesus learned through suffering.  God warned that there would be some to call Christ Lord, but who do not do the will of the Father.   The love of God warns us of not obeying his commands and emphasizes that we grow through discipline and obeying his commands.
